Great location, beach was clean with very few vendors, and they stayed outside perimeter. No high pressure to buy activities or other services, but they were available when wanted. Food was authentic and tasty.

Everything at this property is exceptionally maintained. There are many variation of room and amenities. The food was truly wonderful. Staff were so nice, friendly, personable. And the beach was right in front with ample quantity of lounges with shade.

Right on the beach. 2 restaurants and multiple bars on site. The staff was very helpful with anything you needed.

We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels around the world, and I have to say that this is one of the best. The location is spectacular, just steps away from La Ropa Beach. The food at the hotel is also excellent, some of the best food we’ve had in Mexico. Our room was gorgeous, and modern, and the amenities they offer, including of water and coffee is a great touch. The best part for us were the wonderful staff including: Gregorio, Jorge, Hector, Bruno (who gave us some wonderful recommendations for places to eat and go), Bernet, Juan (who was that whenever we wanted a beer, place to see, something to eat), Victor (who is the nicest guy in the World, and couldn’t have done more for us!), Ili, and Jacobo. There are probably some more we’re missing out. We can’t recommend this place enough. A perfect vacation.

Beautiful property right on the beach. The outdoor shower was absolutely amazing. The pools, the beach, you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful, relaxing vacation spot. We ate the majority of our meals at the Hao restaurant. Every single meal was a 5 star experience. Some of the best meals we have ever had while on vacation. The staff was so accommodating and friendly.

Like, very professional hotel, great food food and beverage service, quality menu, well maintained facility. Some cons, at night the internet was weak approx 1 bar of service. Also the taxi to the hotel could only be purchased via collectivo, no individual taxis which was very expensive.

Breakfasts options were good. Anything we ordered was very good. All staff were super friendly, service was excellent. Lawn furniture was very comfortable. Loved the extra touch of a dining table and two chairs adjacent to our loungers. Very nice to order lunch service and sit comfortably at a table rather than eat off your lap in a lounger or have to go to the beach restaurant daily. ALSO my wife left her IPAD in the room after we checked out and were at the Airport, when hotel txted us to advise they had sent the device in a taxi to the airport. Gave us taxi #, company and to meet driver outside. We were so appreciative we paid him generously.

It is a stunning property and the perfect location for staying in Zihuatanejo. The staff was so attentive and very nice.

The breakfast was good. Good pillows. Great staff. Facilities on the beach were wonderful as was the food service there. Loved the fish tacos.

The Thompson was a beautiful property. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The food was so good and fresh. Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely come back.
